We stayed for 4 nights, one on the top floor and 3 on the 1st floor. The location and views are great, as was having the car park. The room was spacious, fresh and clean. Loved the furniture for the balcony, blackout curtains and the size of the main bed! The balcony is a lovely warm sun trap, even on cooler days. I slept in the single bed and it was really comfy. The shower is AMAZING. The owners are so lovely, I'd stay again for sure!

The room was large and spacious. The upper floor provided one large bed and one small bed, which was perfect for a small family. Each bed had its own heater. The bathroom was spacious with strong water pressure. There was a private parking space, and the location was in the heart of the city, within walking distance to everything, including a stunning lake view. Above all, the motel manager was a very kind lady. She enthusiastically offered to help us with our luggage and gave us a warm welcome. We were truly impressed by her.

Perfect location, right on the waterfront. Amazing sea views from the 2nd storey! You can sit out on the balcony. The bed was a super king - totally unexpected and very comfortable. Wonderful large glass shower and the whole room smelt fresh and was very clean. Felicity - the Motel Operator was friendly and helpful - even helping my friend surprise us with a Wedding Anniversary bottle of wine. Will definitely be our choice of weekend getaways in the future ☺️

We had a corner room which was very spacious with a stunning view over to a wharf and the water. Great to have air conditioning as it was hot at night. Loved having a generous balcony to sit out on. Big comfy bed and comfy armchair and couch, which can be rare. Very close to some lovely eateries

The view from the top floor room 12 was beautiful. The room was huge, with a good lounge area and kitchen. The bathroom shower was very good pressure and spacious. The location was very close to the water and a great cafe and shops. The toiletries were my favourite brand.

Perfect location, right in the middle of everything you need. The bathroom is a little dated but was nice and clean. My favourite part about this place was the extras, nice branded soap, shower gel, a container for food, lots of hot drink options, many channels on TV, wifi is great just all round a very comfortable stay.

Wow, a fantastic place to stay, welcoming friendly people, a nice view down a small wharf from room one with a very comfortable bed and the location is perfect for a short walk and back from the esplanade - great for walking off your evening meal.

One of our favourite accommodations and resorts. Lovely staff welcome. Sizeable first floor room with comfy bed and pillows. Balcony with a view to die for over the Akoroa harbour. I'd have happily stayed here a week (if time had allowed). We will be back for sure. Thank you.

Such a lovely hotel. Big room, great view over the harbour. We were on the top level though. The owner was very welcoming. While the kitchenette was a little dated, it doesn’t matter at all. every other feature was more than you’d expect with this price range. Great shower, quality fittings, great bed, comfy lounges. Super clean too.

Great location right at the harbor yet quiet. Grocery, good seafood restaurant, excellent French bakery and local cafe around here corner. Easy smoke parking. Fantastic view from the balcony for all units. Large comfortable studio. The kitchen had enough glasses etc. to be useful. Very personable owner and staff. Helpful with suggestions.
